Rich Crain, owner of Crain Tree Farm, will share his TREE/SHRUB PLANTING knowledge that he has gained over his last 30 years of experience. In 1980, he planted 1,000 trees on his livestock farm and has been happily planting trees ever since. Rich is a self described plant person and is very enthusiastic about his plants. Making sure people get the most enjoyment from their plants and landscapes is his goal.

Kerry Couch will discuss BUTTERFLY GARDENING .
She is a registered waystation for the University of Kansas Monarch Watch program. Kerry is passionate about NATIVE PLANTS and how they help maintain the ecosystem of all our "winged" friends. She’ll cover which plants are crucial for the butterflies as they migrate back to Mexico. It’s definitely not too late to create a butterfly garden to help them as they travel this fall.
