10:00 am - Top Ten Gardening Tips
Our top ten "Must Know" gardening tips for successful gardening here in the midwest. We've all put our heads together on this one. Sandy will present this valuable list of information to help make your garden gorgeous.
11:00 am - Composting Basics
Save those scraps! Enrich your soil with compost you've made yourself. It's easy and fun to cook up a batch when you have the right recipe. Sarah gives us hands on training from her years of experience in composting. (She even moved her compost pile across country in trash cans)
12:00 noon - Rose Care 101
Enjoy the beauty of roses with minimal care. Growing roses with just a small amount of TLC is presented by Steve. He's been rose gardening for years, so he's sure to have a plenty of pointers to help you, too.
1:00 pm - Container Gardening
Thrillers, Fillers, & Spillers. Round, Spikey & Frilley. Every container needs them! Let Sandy show you how to enhance your patio with the perfect containers combination AND how to keep your containers looking beautiful all season long!
2:00 pm - Vegetable Gardening: YES YOU CAN!
Eating fresh veggies from your own garden? Yes, you can. Learn how with Paul Schorr. Paul is a plant doctor now for the Missouri Botanical Garden and brings with him an extensive knowledge of plants to share with us. Warm or cool season, fertlize or not, when to pick and what to grow, he'll have all the right answers for you.
